What is a conference event?

Before one can evaluate an event I believe it is important to understand the very basics of what is an event. Wikipedia lists an event as; “A conference is a meeting of people who “confer” about a topic” and the event is the actual occasion and the hosting there of. Both the conference and the event can be measured through feedback surveys. Most events companies use the feedback of these surveys in their reports to management and/or their clients.

Why conduct post event survey?
The evaluation of such an event is crucial in maintaining a high standard of service and improvement of future services. The results can be shared by the events hosting company as well as the company actually attending the event.
